The employment record book log is regulated by the Ordinance on Employment Record Books and Employment Service (now renamed Ordinance on Employment Service).

The provisions requiring employers to maintain such a log will be repealed as of June 1, 2025.

This means that, as of that date, the employer will no longer be obligated to maintain a log of employment record books.

However, it is strongly recommended that the employer retain the existing log, in order to be able to demonstrate to the labor inspection authorities that obligations were properly fulfilled for the period prior to June 1, 2025.
