It is stipulated that until June 1, 2026 – or upon termination of the employment relationship during the period from June 1, 2025 to June 1, 2026 – employers shall finalize the employment record books by recording the length of service completed by the employee with the respective employer as of June 1, 2025.

Within 7 days of termination of the employment relationship, the employer will be required to submit an electronic employment record.

If termination occurs during the period between June 1, 2025 and June 1, 2026, it is not required to record the termination data (date and legal ground) in the paper employment record book.
